What still it surprises me nowadays is to realize that people have the concept that planets or something in the Horoscope is going to make something happen, or in other words that the astrologer will look into the crystal ball of the horoscope and make magic.
Let me provide you a real example. A female client appeared to me while a Jupiter transit of the Sun. At the beginning of the consultation time she exclaimed me that “there MUST be an opportunity ahead somewhere to me”.
The concrete problem is that this woman, a lifetime housewife, was in her early sixties and had not worked for over 30 years. In fact, she has no particular skill and was just sitting in the house every day.
What exactly could happen? A marvelous event could manifesting a supernatural act of a divine agent??
This example raises a key point when evaluating a Horoscope. It is so very important to know and understand that neither a horoscope nor a planet are human lives. Planets do not do anything except the fact they are symbols on a piece of paper. Nothing in life happens because of a planet.
Metaphorically, you don’t catch a cold because the Moon is going through your 6 th house.
Things happen in life or do not happen in life as a direct result of planets. The natal chart reflects the individual activity as well as if a person is doing what they should be doing.
Otherwise, the measurements that we use in astrology mean nothing if the life of a person who is doing nothing but following a routinized existence in the home or in, a dead end job only being used for a check.
Modern Astrology teaches us about the controls of the life process, those things which help to make life happen. It is of extreme importance, to understand that a Chart does not describe a static fate of any kind. Instead, it is a dynamically integrated holistic system. It is we, people who dictate the direction and quality of like.
We are all fully motivated by psychological and biological needs that are magically reflected in one’s Horoscope. To sum up, planets and key points symbolize our needs and it is those needs that make things happen.
